Foreword

This is not a legal document, and it's not filled with legalese, mainly because the author is not adept in such matters, if you require something more definitive than a guide then please contact Ginger Cooley via the Contact page.

Privacy

Data Collection and Usage

The following information is collected by this site.

  1. Site Logs

By visiting this website, logs are created that are used for statistical purposes. Information such as your Browser, OS, IP Address, Referer (the page that you came from, if you clicked a link to get to this website), Pages Visited, Number of Times Visited, Time Spent and Time Visited are all recorded.

For the most part, most of this information is collected in a disassociative manner, for example, the amount of time spent on the website can't be attached to any one IP address.

Other information is associatively collected. For example, the number of times visited, and the pages visited, are attached to individual IP addresses.

All this information, as already mentioned, is used for statistical purposes, so, essentially, I can get some pretty graphics to show up if I am so inclined to know how many page views my website has recieved, or exactly how many kilobytes of bandwidth I have used.

  2. Contact Forms

There are two forms on this site, the Contact form found on the contact page, and the Order form, found on the Products page.

The contact form collects all the information entered into it (of course), in addition to your useragent string, which is essentially a string of text your browser sends to servers to let those servers know of the browsers capabilities. If you're interested CCBot/1.0 (+http://www.commoncrawl.org/bot.html) is your useragent string.

The products page collects more sensitive information like your street address and your telephone number, in addition to your Useragent string. This information is primarily collected to ensure the order is successful and to provide a point of contact if there are any errors with the order, as well as a place to which the order can be delivered to, of course.

  3. Cookies

One cookie can be stored on your computer, as a result of using this site, from selecting 'Remember Me' (storing your username and e-mail address that you entered into the contact form), in the Contact form on the Contact page.
The information in the cookie will persist indefinitely (presuming you don't clear your internet cache regularly).

Spam and Other Important Information

Rest assured, any information that I recieve, either directly from you, or indirectly as a result of you simply visiting this website, will not be sold, or otherwise be made available to any other person, group, or company. Under any circumstances.

Also, all communications will be made confidentially.
